Can the Lure 11.5 use the optional Motordrive? Yes. The Overdrive that comes with the kayak is what the Motordrive attaches to, so the Lure 11.5 is ready for it without a second drive unit. The Motordrive is an add-on that mounts to the Overdrive already in the kayak rather than a second drive you swap in. It is rated for up to 40 lb of forward thrust and runs from a single-handed remote. Published performance of up to 4.5 mph and up to 3.15 hours of continuous full-speed running on a charge is qualified as varying with conditions such as wind and current and with the loaded weight of the kayak. Treat those as a ceiling rather than a plan. The Motordrive is sold separately, and a compatible battery is sold separately as well. Neither ships with the kayak, and the battery does not ship with the Motordrive. Motor-ready describes the provisions built into the kayak and the drive, not equipment in the box
